Almost entirely made of magnesium, each piece is prominently marked with a serial number and "magnesium". Made by AUTONETICS a former division of North American Airlines now owned by Boeing. They were instrumental in the GEMINI and DEFENSE MISSILE technology dating to 1958. The infancy of missile development!!

THIS IS HISTORICAL. It has the original disk drive. Two circuit boards still remain, one with transistors and one with small electronics. The SMITHSONIAN has one, but thiers does not have the micronetic clock by elgin nor does it have the triangular brackets at the base that indicate the degree of downrange. The SMITHSONIAN has indicated interest but being similar to the one they have, recommended THE AMERICAN COMPUTER MUSEUM.

This computer rarity from the beginnings of defense missile technology is classified as a d17B Navigational set Inertial. It is a guidance system that housed the gyro and the stellar tracking for the MINUTEMAN 1 NUCLEAR DEFENSE MISSILE, it was made on MARCH 14, 1963.

OK, so I really TINGLED and could NOT sleep for days dreaming of being able to acquire this fabulous item, then only to be completely letdown due to its removal because the asshole who owns it did not think it would bring in the zillions that he thought he could milk out of the bidders! Hey, I should try this with 80% of my auctions, since MOST of them do NOT even get close to what I paid for the items, usually MANY years previously!! And although we are not talking about 500k or anything, it still adds up in the long run!

Plus, what will all my foreign pals think of me now that I cannot supply them something they can use in their so-called modern research programs.
