OMG, was it a bomb sent by some unknown Russian who was so upset with something on my website that they wanted to liquidate me somehow, leaving only teensy-weensy bits and pieces all over the demolished apartment??
Although the guy from the newspaper saw the wires and all, he lifted up the other end and said he did not see anything there. Then he just turned the other way and ripped the lid off----

Luckily he was NOT close by when the lid was torn off!

Two VINTAGE turn of the century Russian BEAR Christmas ornaments which I won on eBay a short time ago!
What a relief! And I sent the $$ for them to California!
So I now have some more goodies for my BEAR collection, and from the old country! Thanks Alex! Now I can resume my usual humdrum life for another few hours of uneventful happenings!
